They completed the militarism worksheet to reflect on things they learned about factors that help to increase or decrease military power, what could be dangerous about militarism, and how militarism affects a country's economy, government, and its people.

Bellringer: Today students listened to the reading of the text below on Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the movable type printing press. They completed the drawing of block printing versus movable type printing and answered the question at the bottom.
We went through slides 1-14 on the powerpoint below, learning the key vocabulary of Protestant, Reformation, and indulgences as well as being introduced to the first reformer, Martin Luther.
