Welcome to the first day of school! Students received an introduction to Social Studies class and me as their teacher. We had a quick tour of our room and some class procedures. We learned our four cardinal directions. We talked about the four compass points representing the excitements, worries, needs, and suggestions that students had for 6th grade and had a class discussion on these. Students were assigned to complete a student questionnaire and take home a parent questionnaire for their parents to complete as well. These are due on Friday.
